What percentage of your customers consider remote mobile viewing via mobile phones as a must have? Has it gotten to the point where you cannot offer a system without this technology?

think  I phone or some others manufactures offering G 3 support are just toys ,not one of my customers have I asked about  a mobile connection linked to there DVR recorder

Interesting Steve, most people I speak to are saying that mobile viewing is a major part of selling their systems. They basically can not sell a system without this function. Do you do more residential or commercial installs?
Thanks Michael. I am actually very surprised at this. What would you say is the most asked for feature? What feature is the one that most of your customers are requesting?
I am finding quite a few domestic clients asking about viewing cctv live on their iphone, but they don't always go for it when they find out it costs a bit more.

Till now nobody ask me for this kind of facility.

About 50% of our customer use remote viewing technology, but out here in Atlanta there is a lot of traditional clients who don't want the bells and whistles.  We actually had a client upset this week because we were out of Honeywell Vistas to install and had to give her a 2 GIG alarm system!  As for our clients with remote viewing application for their security camera systems- they are in heaven and love being able to keep that extra eye on their location.

We are in the business of pleasing our customers. Mobile capability is almost a must nowadays even if they don't use. How many customers don't you have that request features they never use?
